yer surest bet is to stay away from " premixed " alcohols, such as barcardi

breezers(sorrrrry!!!!!!!)...

if you like hard alcohol, stick with vodka's, and the " clearer " spirits...

as for beer and wine....

ahem...depnds widely...there are a bunch of english folk on this list ,

correct...most cask conditioned beers use isinglas...over here in the

colonies, it is a much rarer occasion, tho with the micr/craft brew

revolution you are starting to see the use of isinglas a bit more...most

american beers are either:

a. unflitered(yeast left inside)

b. filtered with a diatamaceous earth filter or a screen or some such...

 

ya can always stick with organic labeled beers and wines to be sure...

I`d just like to let any London folk(who don`t already know) know that there

is a delicious chinese vegan resteraunt at 10 Greek St, Soho....100% vegan

food including lunch box take aways....We`re off there tommorrow for a pea

fight!!

I'm pretty sure they're okay - generally it seems to be the case that in the

main it's beer and wine that need to be checked rather than a lot of the

spirits

 

I'd give them a ring - like you say they may not have had time to research

before putting out the latest edition
