Hey all!

I'm new, and here goes the intro... I wrote something similar on

another list months ago:

Its like this; I used to be a ferocious meat-eater and overweight

advocate

of McDonald and Co. Now I weight 85 lbs lighter and look pretty darn cool,

but getting my dream Bod with my dream philosophy made me a bit... Err,

chaotic.

So I might indulge myself in very strangely misplacen phrases or

allusions, joining the forces of the otherwise unknown chaotic jugglers.

Base rule is, of course, Ahimsa. Meaning? Doing more then " not doing bad " ,

" doing good while living well! " Anyways, I'm a very nice guy, and I did not

use to be that much. It took a lot of courage to drop my old habits and

values, and I'm proud of that. I have no more fears of ridicule, so I

indluge in it.

I think the best way to describe myself is to tell you about my

place...

So sit down and take a tour of my apartment, smack down in the middle

of downtown Montreal!

No dark colours here; only bright yellow, smooth orange, apple-like

greens and a " soy milky " beige. Music seems to be playing all the time,

perhaps because the person who lives here can't stand the silence, perhaps

because the music is part of everything... Who knows? But the music is good;

in fact its the best electronic music in town; DJ approved...

Strangely, some very cheesy songs can be found amidst his collection.

And the person who lives here plays them sometimes; he enjoys them (in

secret)

A lot of light comes in from the front, and there is often people

sitting on the couches or dancing around. The back of the apartment is a bit

darker, cooler and calmer... You can't really see inside the back from the

outside, as there is a wall very close to the windows back there, but I

guess

you could see inside if you really wanted too... Anyways, Its never too

hot as to be uncomfortable, even when the temperature is awful outside.

Couple of funny paintings on the walls, like my purple Rabbit Protector,

with

his huge carrot he stands proud over my computer, the centre of this place.

The Machine holds a lot of data, a lot of it being vegan/animal related.

It contains some websites designed by the person who live here, such as

(forgive the *publicity*) www.upperworld.com, his

current passion. The computer is evidently up to the task of compiling all

that its owner feeds it, as it is a very powerful machine.

The owner, is almost always sitting on the computer chair, unless he's

dancing,

sleeping or, uhn... Dancing. He loves to dance, you see, but

he as so much to do to help the animals and the humans, who are one and the

same.

(He thinks.)

Lots of books everywhere and roller blades inches from the computer,

like an escape door... They look somewhat dusty. You can access the roof,

but a hidden door protects it... If you get there, the chill wind and

activity on

St-Catherine St. will make you gaze first at the people who scurry like

little ants,

then into the immense blue sky, or it's magnificent and powerful cloud

formations. You see,

because of the location of the apartment it gets really windy around there

sometimes, really really windy. The owner loves the storms. He'd like to see

people celebrate under a black sky torn appart by white streaks of power,

the power we all are part of.

(He thinks.)

There is also what you could call a cinema room, even if there's only

a very small TV and video in there, coupled with a single-place couch.

The owner doe not watch TV often; so he arranged for his friends to be

physically uneasy when then watch TV, so they come in the living room

and get social, either with him if he's not too busy, or with the other

people

around. A lot a people enter and exit the place, pretty much everyone smile

either coming or going.

Smiling and dancing, you can smell the + energy in here... Geez! Big

water bed, too. This guy likes his comfort when he... sleeps.

Of course, he may move someday; change doe not scare the person who

lives here, as he knows true happiness lies in the pursuits of joyful goals.

Not in a finality of bliss.

I'll stop here; I want to know you guys better before writting pages upon

pages of digital philosophy!
