Guest guest
I think you should continue to shop there Angie, we in Portugal have started to see a new age in shopping, Soya yoghurts, ice cream, milk, veggie burgers and sausages have all been introduced in the past year or two. Incredible really considering about 99% of people here think that the mere idea of basic vegetarianism is nutty let alone veganism. The only way I am sure that the supermarkets will continue to stock these delicious innovations is through buying them, it is one of the meager powers that consumers have. Hopefully one day the veggie section will be larger than the frozen non-veggie section. Ostrich meat has been available for much longer here and it has done very well financially. As I see it the companies are looking for alternatives to sell to us (consumers) and it's up to us to see to it that they cater for our (vegan) needs at the expense of shelf space for meaties. By the way I didn't mean to upset I'm actually glad there was the discussion on drugs, before I just read the messages and discussed them with my wife now I'm being more active...thanks!
