Guest guest
I had a brief look at some stuff about 'The Celestine Prophecy' I think I`ll stay away as it looks like a book that I might get very irritated with. My favourite book (ie. book that had most profound effect on me)is " Daybreak " by Nietzche. I also enjoyed " Knots " by R.D.Laing and " Jonathan Livingstone Seagull " by Richard Bach. now isn`t that nice MrBoOk _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
OK then... I'm from Great Barr in the sunny (well it is at the moment) city of Birmingham. Birmingham doesn't seem to be very good on the vegan front - the only vegan restaurant appears to be the Warehouse Cafe run by Friends of the Earth, which does some top food. One place in somewhere the size of B'ham is fairly poor! I've yet to find anywhere other than Holland and Barrett that sells vegan food as well. Maybe something will emerge from the giant building site that is the city centre...doubt it though. I'm 21, graduated (in Transport Management) from Aston Uni last year and am now working as, erm, a Transport Consultant (public transport, none of your road building everywhere...!). Have been vegan for 3 and a half years, and was veggie all my life before that. On the book front, currently reading Douglas Adams " Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul " (think thats the correct title!) which is suitably bizarre. Non bizarreness would be boring. Guest guest
I'm 25. Been vegan for about 4 years, vegetarian since I was about five though, and Mum started me off veggie for the first couple of years (when I was a child though I used to pretend that if I couldn't see the word gelatine on those vile highly coloured jellies they used to sell in Woolworths that meant it wasn't there). My mum is vegetarian, though she ate fish until I was about 10, and my dad eats veggie at home but scoffs pork pies as soon as he's out of the house. I live in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire with my parents a.t.m., but am part-buying a place in Leicester, which I'll be moving to really soon. It's pretty good on the eating out front - five places i know of there so far do palatable vegan food, which is way up from Hemel (none apart from chips). Until I move I'm temping at a phone-chat company which is quite a laugh, as I get to moderate the live messaging lines. Favourite place = Aberystwyth (where i went to uni) and Wales in general, Favourite book = very difficult choice but I do have a high regard for 'Mog's Christmas'. If you want to see what I look at I have a very tiny webpage with a couple of pictures - http://www.eccentrix.com/personal/kerni _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
