Hey, dont apologise...mind you even though Camborne and Redruth are

" slightly " inbred they do have a couple of things going for them...

....where else would I find all my crimpolene suits that I love so much if

not in a Camborne/Redruth charity shop...

....also if you find yourself bored in Redruth (as so often happened)it`s

always fun to sit and watch all the inbreds getting their shopping.

As for the Vegan Pasty...yup..a health food shop in Truro did one, pre

packaged one though(not a true cornish pasty)

Carleys in Truro was a good shop to go for Vegan food it sold freerange meat

too...but it had a huge selection of Vegan stuff and lovely home made

rolls...mmh.

Carleys rocks, (apart from the meat of course) - it used to be a lifesaver

when I was busking & needed a munch break.... you can get Clives Pies there

Yum Yum. :-)

Hello people,

> [Growing up, moving round, Cornwall, the Barclay Centre - aarghh!]

Despite being a Londoner now, I spent most of my life growing up in Devon

and was a painter and decorator in Cornwall before I started my present life

as a lecturer and wannabe psychologist. In fact, if you're ever in Fowey,

you can be safe in the knowledge that those particular Cornish public

toilets have been painted by a vegan. I have also had the dubious pleasure

of going to the Barclay Centre (a Cornish nightclub that seems to be stuck

in the early eighties).

Yeah Enjoy was a cool shop but then they moved it to just round the corner

by Carleys and it went a bit shit..when they moved most of their clothes

were just hand made and not originals :(

lush paste there..it came in a jar..wow,I miss Carleys.

Left for good last year 'cos no bugger ever gets anything

done in Cornwall. (Love going back though)
