Guest guest
Can I be the spiritual leader MrBogOff WARNING: This would be a minefield for the government. It would open the door to minority groups to justify their practices be having them classed as religious. I can just see the National Hunt all becoming members of the " church of the sacred fox " , bound by their beliefs to chase those bushytailed pagans to their bitter end. arghhhhhhhhh. Is this what the Rastafarians did to allow cannabis in their lifestyle? Do the police and authorities respect their rights? _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
No, you cannot be the leader Mr Big ~ Jerry Friedman is our leader! You must now bow down and worship his great compassion, wisdom and intelligence! Just kidding, but his religious discrimination lawsuit is what spawned the idea which I am promoting here. Jerry will also soon be a lawyer to the animal rights movement in the USA. The difference between the case of Mr Rasta Brown and his " religious " possession and sale of cannabis and a vegan claiming religious discrimination is that the possession and sale of cannabis is already illegal, but nothing about practising the vegan lifestyle is actually illegal, so we would have a stronger case than Rasta Brown under the Human Rights Act if we suffered discrimination. This was Jerry's take on it basically. He predicted that Mr Brown would lose, when I showed him the Guardian article. I am certainly very interested in the implications of the Human Rights Act, especially for vegans' rights. Rasta Brown lost his case but was shown some leniency. http://www.guardianunlimited.co.uk/Print/0,3858,4086134,00.html http://www.independent.co.uk/story.jsp?story=50643 Lesley vegan-network, " mr big " <pervyempire@h...> wrote: > Can I be the spiritual leader > > > MrBogOff > > WARNING: > This would be a minefield for the government.
