Guest guest
Different people/orgs interpret " ethical " in different ways...but the closest I've seen are a couple of environmental job agencies, and none specifically in the UK, but they do list international jobs: http://www.sustainablebusiness.com/jobs/ http://www.sdgateway.net/jobs/ A friend of mine wanted to work for FOE - and they told her that they advertise in the Gaurdian. There are a few vegan companies who you could write to (see the Vegan Business Connection and Vegan Soc UK sites). I suppose it depends what you want to do. I'm lucky because I've got skills that are in demand, and so I can work freelance. I have my own criteria for who I will or will not work for, and you can apply the same criteria for permie jobs. Ideally I'd like to build my company up into more than a one-man band, and maybe take someone on in the future (priority to vegans!). But a long way to go yet. There was also some talk about creating a Co-Op... Oh - I think an ethical recruitment agency would be great - but are there many jobs out there to advertise? Again, it depends on what you mean by ethical. Being a sad internet junkie I could imagine running the whole thing over the web with little overheads... Guest guest
Yeah the 'ethical' is a problem. I agree but your guess was right, it would be web based. I was thinking about subsection such as, environmental, human rights, animal rights, but also the organisation may impose restriction As you put - you would have a vegan working for you, which would ( if I advertise your job) be listed in the same way as non-smokers may be on 'normal' recruitment sites. Anyway - more ideas will come - thanks for the mail >Different people/orgs interpret " ethical " in different ways...but the >closestI've seen are a couple of environmental job agencies, and >nonespecifically in the UK, but they do list international jobs: > <aTarget='_new' Href Andrew Barnes 07970 075905 -------------------- talk21 your FREE portable and private address on the net at http://www.talk21.com
