In total agreement with your views. I always say to my college friends

that if I had a lot of money I'd give it to worthwhile causes and use

if for the good of others. But, they don't understand and one friend

can't see what's wrong with capitalism so we're always arguing!!

 

It is awful how we hero-worship people that don't deserve it.

However, I always respect celebs a lot more if they're veg*n or

support enviro/human rights causes etc. One celeb that I really

respect is Alicia Silverstone as she's vegan and is always speaking up

for the cause. I don't think some celebs release how much power and

influence they have, you never know Alicia might have gotten some

people to make the change.
