Guest guest
to Laura (mostly) Re: How do you get the internet on a boat? If & when the engine is working, I can run a laptop from the inverter, which converts 12voltr power to 240 volt power, & then use a phone line. I haven't set this up though yet, so I'm bumming the internet connection off Cambridge University whose building we are using for work (until about two weeks time.) >>You also seem to have a prity interesting / cool past. Hard work more like. But yeah - life 's challenges are what makes different people what they are. I'm after a quiet life these days. Come & check boatness out if you're up for it. Safety is important - but usually you can suss people out quickly enough, ~ Truth always rings LOUDLY. I'm more trusting than most as my address moves daily so its not easy for anyone to check me out & burgle me later like they can plan to easily in a house, plus if they did, they'd realise we don't have much worth stealing - and I also think most burglers would be put off by our large axe next to our fire! I have been burgled twice on a different boat - my peace loving nature goes out the window if someone intrudes on my family space - but it would be so unlikely that a non vegan would go to the trouble of joining this group so as to pose as a vegan & take advantage of one! Come & check boatness out if you like. Hannah.
