Guest guest
> The other man snapped, " stop doing that, you are irritating me. " > The man replied calmly, " maybe your just easily irritated. " > > MrBIg > >Do you want some tips John? to continue the " Dharma Battle " as the Tibetans were wont to call it The question is whether is rattling change in the pocket is objectively irritating or not and whether the irritator stop as soon as he discovered that it hurt or upset someone else. loose change like, loose thought rip small holes in the fabric of the mind and society, small holes that grow to large division and then cause loss and waste. Of course the analogy is faulted because loose change really is not injurous to the body, mind and soul of self and others. A better analogy would be; Two men trapped in a lift. One starts juggling knives. The other says, " look, I really dont think that you should do that in this finite space we share. " The other man say, " May be you just bleed easy, shithead " . Where your arguments fail is that you use what intelligence you to manipulate a defence for your own self interest so that the weakness is seen to be on other's behalf. You cloud issue with " subjectivism " , e.g. " This is what I think, that is what you think, there is no such thing as truth. I am going to do what the hell I want, now get out my way. And if you mess, I will pinch you " . it is not what intelligence is meant to be used for and it is not in harmy with the general spirit of being vegan which is to extend compassion to other being first and put your own self interest and indulgence aside. It is like you climb so high then find a comfortable little cranny to hide in and stop growing. " OK, I can go back to sleep now, dont wake me! " And you still have not put a counter to the greater issues such as who are you empowering with the investment of your money and energy. john
