When you refer to male dominated engineering, I hope you're referring to real engineering and not technitioning. Find me a " heating engineer " and can of spray paint and I'll vandalise the vandalism. People who put engineer after every technition like task need to be sent to France and charge with their crimes there. If you looks at 'hard' science subjects such as neuroscience, that include just as much maths, programming and logical analysis, at least half are women. If you're interested in the subject there's an excellent books by Margeret Wertheim called " In Pythagarus' Trousers " that traces the role of women in physics and engineering.
