Guest guest
> It makes it harder for kids to learn the correct spelling {and dyslexics] if you keep doing incorrect spellings. Can we pleeeeaaaasssse get off this anally-retentive subject? Why is it so important to you? As long as you understand what Mr Big is saying then why does it matter??? People make far too much fuss about flipping spelling!!! It was part of my GCSE English Language grade but I think that is very unfair to dyslexics who can be just as intelligent as anyone else. I don't mean to be rude Angie I just think there are more important things to discuss. Regards Suz
Guest guest
You fail to understand my point .Kids reading incorrect spellings will find it hard to learn the correct spelling. Its about helping them Mr Big does it deliberately. He's admitted it.It may not be important to you ,but I like to know when I am making mistakes so I can learn from them.I also don't want kids insisting they are spelling something correctly because they have seen adults spell it that way.. What a shame that I don't know what is and isn't important .You'll have to educate me. If I don't think something is important I don't reply to it . - <suzy.grayson <vegan-network > Tuesday, May 15, 2001 5:25 PM See, changing this isn't hard!!!!! > > > It makes it harder for kids to learn the correct spelling {and > dyslexics] if you keep doing incorrect spellings. > > Can we pleeeeaaaasssse get off this anally-retentive subject?
