i dont suppose anybody on this network lives near Haveford West in

wales? my boyfriend wants me to move there from Leeds and i was just

wondering if there were any vegans down there cos he hasnt found any.

i dont think there is much for me down in H West so if there are any

single vegan women in south wales there is soon to be a very sexy

sporty vegan bloke on the market. he is very nice to, it is just the

differences in things we want to do that is splitting us up. (big

shame)

it is a rely wierd feeling to be a single vegan cos you see these

realy sexy men then you think - but they eat meat. i have yet to test

my will power in not kissing meat eaters, that is if i get the chance.

welcome to the site dmatheson72. whats your real name? what or who do

you do animations for, cartoons or ads? this site is fairly cool cos

you can share usefull info and stuff. there are some prity heated

arguments that happen as well.

Hey you other single vegan girls - don't discount going out with non-vegans

out of hand

No man I have been out with for longer than 3 months (thats three blokes,

btw) has withstood the power of my compelling persuasiveness. Two went

vegetarian when I was vegetarian (I lost touch with one, but the other one

definitely stayed that way), and the last one went vegan and still is. Ha ha

ha, the power of sex!...and rational explanation as well, I guess :)

Mind you, my vegetarian ex SWEARS I had nothing to do with his decision.

Well done! I had no success in over 4 years with my first boyfriend.

That kind of put me off meat-eaters for life, it all depends on your

own experiences.

heh.

actually dating a vegetarian was the impetus i needed

to stop eating meat, back a long time ago. but for me

i already had veg tendencies: I didn't like the idea

of meat, but i didn't like vegetables (a childhood of

meat, potatoes, and plain boiled broccoli will do that).

she did have a great idea: a " cooking date " : she invited

me over to make dinner " but it has to be veg " . not only

was it fun but i also learned some good cooking skills

in the process. Which was important once i became single

again!

there is still something to be said for exposing someone,

especially a carny, to the joys of quality vegan cooking,

even if romance is not in the cards.

hmm I have no complaints whatsoever, fellas?

there was some talk of beginning a polygamy-type setup here to help breed the

next generation of vegans faster, which I think could be beneficial ;-)

I said

" Three girls to every boy " from the beach boys (?) song when someone

reckoned the ratio was 3:1. By that measure I need two more. He he. House

work for 3 or 4 anyone ? (directly translated from the French).

improve my cooking skills, it really helps to show people that vegan food is the

Despite these figures, which may or may not be accurate, when I used

to frequent London Vegans a few years ago, there were many more

single vegan men than single vegan women around. It was quite

noticeable, it seemed that vegan women were less likely to be

gregarious enough to join groups. I don't know if things have changed

now, but it was also the case with vegetarians as well as vegans in

another vegetarian group I was in around the same time period.

Single vegan men went looking for compatible women who nearly all

stayed home and didn't make the effort to go to the right groups to

meet ethically compatible men!

Hey there's this nutritionist doing research into vegan men at the

moment for King's College, and she put out an advert for 50 vegan men

wanted.

Perhaps you could bribe her for the details of the top 10 or so?

(I asked her if it was all just a ploy to find a vegan man. Luckily

she could tell I had my tongue in my cheek! Sorry Zoue).

(James now leaves list as didn't expect all this attention!)

Seriously though, have you ever thought of going to a veg*n dating

agency? Or isn't that your scene?

Sadly I'm old enough to be your mum.In fact my son [21 in August ] is

going to live in Brighton in June{house minding for his Gran who is elderly

and lives with me in Nottingham]

I'm a teacher hoping to give up in the next few years and return to

Brighton--I miss the sea-I was brought up there and left to go to Uni.

I used to visit Hastings on day trips as a child ,and always liked

it[especially the funicular-is that the right spelling?
