Guest guest
Sue, You could fast for 24 hours, but I prefer to do 2 days as it gives my digestive system more of a rest. I'll do 3 days next time. Generally more than 3 is not recommended unless it's supervised. Andy, as for benefits. It allows your digestive system to rest and you body can carry out essential repairs that can't happen while you're digesting. Some people who have more serious health problems (including cancer) fast for weeks at a time and their medical condition reverses or get significantly better. It's kind of like hitting the reset button. I was taking homeopathic medicine (bulked with sugar), so that may have effected it. Depending on plans for this weekend, I'll do it again. > Regards, > > Rowan McCartney > Undergraduate Placement Student > Electronic Throttle Control > Visteon ETS > Room GB-28/861 > Visteon Technical Centre > Laindon, Basildon, Essex > SS15 6EE, England. > > * +44-(0)1268-40-6212 > FordNet : 738-6212 > * Rmccar14 Sue Grayson [suzy.grayson] 29 May 2001 12:46 vegan-network Yoga(was rowan) Second try at sending this!! > Rowan, are you a yogic?
