Guest guest
Hi Michael - <I'm now in Hull (or Kingston-upon-Hull as I prefer to >pedantically point <BR> >out), (takes break from revising for finals in order to read millions of messages and reply to them...). I live just on the other side of the Humber (when I'm not at Cambridge) in a little village called Goxhill. Don't go to Hull all that much (you can understand why they shortened the name, 'cause it's a bit of a mouthful otherwise, don't you think?), because we have to pay the bridge toll. Nice place for shopping, though - everyone's really friendly. My Mum told me about a vegan group somewhere around Hull who meet up for meals regularly, but I never got round to getting in touch with them. Have you? They didn't shorten Kingston-upon-Thames to Thames though. As a Yorkshireman though I have a duty to be bitter about anything southern. 8-) > My Mum told me about a >vegan group somewhere around Hull who meet up for >meals regularly, but I never got round to getting in >touch with them. Have you? I'm afraid I haven't, I've only heard rumour of them. I know that Hull veggies do have monthly, or so, meals at Hitchcock's (which are usually mentioned in the small new items in the Hull Daily Mail if you can get hold of that) but I haven't been to one.
