Guest guest
> I could be up for that, Leeds shouldn't be a problem as it is only an hour by train. I may be working down south and staying at my parents over the summer although I will return home at weekends. Where do your 'rents live? > At the time I didn't know any vegetarians or vegans, my family are still all carnivores. In the two years I've been with my girlfriend she's ecome vegetarian and very recently vegan, and she only got subjected to my diet twice a fortnight Well done for changing her! Guest guest
Hi Michael, >Beano's far from the city centre? No, not at all, in fact it is kind of in the city centre. Do you know where the cinema Odeon is? Beanos is very close. >Sort of. It's about 15 miles inland on the Humber estuary although it is a >fairly wide river and makes a wonderful view as you arrive in the city as >the railway line runs alongside it. You can get buses out to the costal >villages though which is something I keep meaning to do. Sounds nice, wouldn't mind seeing that view! > >If its not too far, you could always come for a vegan shopping tour to > >Leeds and I can show you the healthshop! > >That sounds good. So far the only shop know of in Leeds is the fair trade >one near the Corn Exchange. Yeah, I know that one as well, it's good! Let me know when you are up for a Leeds trip, I'm going to Beanos all the time! I live just by the coach station - very central - so I can meet up with you there (or at the train station if you prefer, it's not far!) Take care! Ooh, I don't know the street names but I know I could easily find my way there. >Sounds nice, wouldn't mind seeing that view! I would offer to show you the vegan sights in Hull if you ever visit but there really isn't much to see. Hitchock's is by far the best but they only have a single seating at 8pm. If you do come over this way then let me know, I live right by the city centre. >I live just by the coach station - very central - so I can meet up with you >there (or at the train station if you prefer, it's not far!) I'll let you know when I can go over to Leeds then. I want to go to York either this week or next though as they have a much better Borders bookshop and I need to look for things for my course. Incidentally I haven't mentioned the shop in York I visit, it's Tullivers which is around the back of The Shambles. It used to be a very tiny place, literally half a shop, before moving and now it is in much larger premises. It's very spacious as sadly they haven't increased the product range. Guest guest
Hi again, >I would offer to show you the vegan sights in Hull if you ever visit but >there really isn't much to see. Yeah, I might actually come and visit you sometime! I haven't been around much on that side of Leeds and want to see more of England - even though you say it's not too much to see! What is Hitchock's? >I'll let you know when I can go over to Leeds then. I want to go to York >either this week or next though as they have a much better Borders bookshop >and I need to look for things for my course. > Great! York is lovely, I've been there a few times. Last time I was there I saw a vegetarian retaurant that looked interesting! Unfortunately I never got a chance to try it, but hopefully will next time I go! Do you know any vegetarian restaurants in York? Borders in Leeds is very good too - three floors with a nice cafe on the topfloor! Been singing there too (I'm a singer by the way, don't think I've told you before!). Have you been there? Take care!
