Good luck! I actually started a yogic diet today. have been fasting all day, absolute hell, u need such a strong will-power to do it, but you do learn what being hungry really is!!! I'll be doing a de-tox next week. I would recomend it as it's really good for you!! I'm actually looking forward to it as you can eat lots of nice things e.g. hummus, tofu, rice-cakes, porridge, soup and of course fruit and veg!! Yum!! :-p Maybe you'd like to join me next week and we could give each other mutual support?? I can give you more info and recipes if you can't find any books. Talk u later, Su. I have a yoga book but it doesn't say much about food. Btw - I am moving to the West End of Glasgow, not London - I only just worked out out that was what you thought I meant! Hope this diet does something for my brain... Mog
Guest guest
Glasgow's pretty cool for vegans. I used to work up there and now go back quite often coz my girlfriend lives there. You've got 13th Note (the only vegan pub I know of - everything on the menu is vegan, but check out their cheesecake mmmm), Grass Roots restaurant for slightly more upmarket, and their shop is great. Not sure if the Bay Tree cafe is still going, and I've heard but never been to the Granary. Of course there are loads of pure veggie indian restaurants. Glasgow vegans also meet regularly. And the west end is probably the best area in Glasgow Hope you enjoy it as much as I did --Rob vegan-network, " Morag " <manga_mog@h...> wrote: > > > Btw - I am moving to the West End of Glasgow, not London - I only > just worked out out that was what you thought I meant! Is this *really* detox, since this is what I normally eat and I don't feel very detoxed! vegan-network, " Sue Grayson " <suzy.grayson@n...> wrote: > > I'll be doing a de-tox next week. I have got a book with a seven day meal plan but i wouldn't be following it 2 the letter as it's not vegan!! Would you like the plan or just some recipes and tip?? > Btw - I am moving to the West End of Glasgow, not London - I only > just worked out out that was what you thought I meant! Hope this diet does something for my brain... LOL!! I thought it was a bit strange, as flats in the West End aren't cheap and us vegans aren't known to be fabulously wealthy!! Sas. Next week will be a good time for me to start 'cos all my exams will be out of the way. No more eating junk because I'm stressed! How's your diet going this week?
