Guest guest
I thought The Search for Shrodingers Cat was an excellent book. It's kind of philosophical as well. For those that aren't familiar with it, it's when. You put a cat in a box with a vile of poison and a radioactive atom with a radiation detector that breaks the vile if the atom decays. You then shut the door and press the button leaving the atom a 50/50 chance of decaying. Is the cat alive or dead? He argues it's both alive and dead, but when you look (in the box) the universe splits in two and we can only remember one of them. So in one universe the cat is alive, the other.. dead. It's also a really good book on the history of physics. RM
