As far as i remember from my lessons in college, there are laws on

discrimation to do with sexism, racism etc. But you are allowed to

specify a black person for a job if they need to have this skin colour

e.g. an actor playing some-one like Martin Luther King. As long as you

specify your reasons for discriminating others in favour of one

particular sex or race or beliefs, then it is not illegal.

That's atrocious, Lesley!!

That's awful, too. I was forced to have vaccinations in school as is

was up to my dad even though it's my bl**dy body!! Luckily, when i was

offered the menigitis jab in college, i could refuse it because i was

over 16. Everyone thought i was weird though and said that i was more

likely to get it and pass it on to everyone else!! What a cheek!! :(

i agree with you here. The same should go for doctors, but they don't

have much training in nutrion at all!! My doctor died of a heart

attack in his mid-fifties. LOL!!I'm not laughing at the fact he had a

heart-attack, just at the irony of it all!

Once again, this is extremely unfair and un-professional of them do

this!! Is the situation any better now for nurses, do u know??
