Guest guest
Here's another one then: If you live in a part of the UK that gets the Metro free newspaper (available at train/tube stations etc), you've probably noticed that they all get picked up before 9am (at least where I am), and then get left on train seats etc, and usually there's a scramble to get them when people first get on board for something to do while travelling. Well, being a bit devious, I get a load of animal rights/environmental leaflets and stuff them in the middle so that the next person gets them. I'm lucky enough to get onto the tube at the end of a line, so its quite easy to pick up between 5 and 10 papers each moring (before the cleaner nabs them!). I then spend the first part of the journey inserting leaflets and leaving the papers around. Just another mad idea! vegan-network, " Angie Wright " <angiewright@n...> wrote: > Brilliant idea thanx for that Angie > > > - > " spacevegan " <rob@z...> > <vegan-network> > Thursday, May 31, 2001 1:35 PM > [100% veg*n ] Re: Cake and icecream and general food disc. > > > > > (I usually use their freepost envelopes > > to send them some of the gruesome vivisection leaflets I have and > > also a form to support The Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research and > > the odd photocopied article on the health lies that the big charities > > spread. Another brillant idea, Rob!! I also liked your first one, will be doing that with those freepost envelopes. On the subject of enveopes, here's another tip, does evefybody know that you can use pre-paid evelopes for your own addresses and not just the address on the envelope? As long as you tippex over the original address and make sure the license number is on there, you can save a stamp!! It's saved me a small fortune!! Hehe! Sas. P.S. Am very impressed by everything you've said generally, Rob! Nice one.
