Guest guest
>I do know of a few Ecover refill stations though. Goodness me,never heard of anything like that. I just take my bottles to the recycling bin, and usually struggle to fit them through the holes. Are these stations with participating shops then? >We don't even re-use plastic >bags much (Fresh'n'Wild give you a discount of...wait for it...5p if >you do! Wow-wee!). Back to supermarkets again but Kwik-Save do charge for bags and encourage you to bring your own. I think Sainsbury's used to give a 1p for each bag you brought and reused, not sure if they still do. >What sort of interesting tinned stuff did you see? All by The Really Interesting Food Company, never seen them before. Nothing organic sadly but all clearly labeled as suitable for vegans and it included some Thai curries. (I love Thai). If I am able to go back to work (and I really need to) then I'll only be home at weekends which means I won't get to do much real cooking sadly. I did also see the Sainsbury's own label Sorbets which clearly stated they were suitable for vegans on the front, a very positive step. I bought a tub of the 'real strawberry and champagne' one to try but I thought no actual champagnes are vegan? >Anyway enough ranting. Hope you like the cake! We should start a fat >vegan club - unless you're one of the lucky ones! I wish! A bit dry but quite nice, and rather authentic. Makes you wonder why they can't make them all like that, particularly as it should make them cheap to produce. Michael
