Guest guest
> We seem to have some new members lately, introduce yourselves!! And > welcome!! > We're new to this list. 30 something couple in Manchester with 1 year old baby. Vegan for a good 10 years now. 100% on the diet but slip up now and then with non-food stuff mostly because we can't bear things to go to waste. Would like our daughter to have a vegan best friend but canot seem to find any other local vegan babies or even many local vegan adults. Will this do for an introduction or are we supposed to write pages and pages? Gillian, Motoi & Elena
Guest guest
Hello, ok I admit it, I'm new here. Just lurking quietly and not saying much. It's good to be on a mostly british vegan group, as i was on an american one before and a lot of it was irrelevant if you didn't live there. I'm one of the Glasgow vegans, a small yet friendly group who eat cake a lot! I moved back over a year ago, and it is so good to meet up and talk with other vegans, and not feel as if I was the only one. I'm 33, been vegan for almost 13 years. Thankfully i don't have to share my flat, and so have a meat and dairy free kitchen. I've had to share with a meat eater before (my ex) and hated having to share the pots etc, and having bits of carcass in the fridge ( he even ate pork scratchings !). I hope this makes some sense as I'm still at work after 13 hours, and it's not over yet. We are heading to the Isle of Kerrera on Sunday (weather permitting) if anyone is within reach of Glasgow. Thanks for the welcome, cheers, Wend : )
