You can see the map on www.streetmap.co.uk if you type in the postcode. If you can get to Safeways you are pretty close. As I recall, the buses that definitely go from the city centre are the 86 and 47. There are probably more. If you give me a few more hints as to where you are I'll try to be a bit more helpful! Guest guest Posted June 4, 2001 Report Share Posted June 4, 2001 Thanx for that. I'd love to get to this place, it sounds like somewhere I used to goto in Aber called the treehouse. Actually, that place was just an organic shop/cafe and not totally vegan, but given the nature of the biusness (mainly veg and that) most their stuff was ok for us anyway. I live near Bury so if I goto Macnchester it will proberbly be either via the metrolink, or from the 135 bus route (y'know - the sort of double bus that bends in the middle). Either way it's city centre or thereabouts. Is the place an eatery as well as a shop? That'd be good because so far there's only the pop cafe and the 8th day that I know about in M/cr. Then ask for Safeways athen get up the road to Unicorn. Can't eat there. But it you look on the manveg website. Don't know the address as I am not at home but it is something like www.ivu.com/manveg - can anyone hazard a better guess than this? It has some other cafes listsed and the one which looks m,ost interesting is Earth in the City Centre which seems to be 100% vegan. Haven't been there due to having small baby and no money - bad comnination! I will try and post the website later. Remind me if I don't!
