Guest guest
If someone is leading such a miserable painful existence and has no help or chance to get better, they should be allowed to end their lives. My stance on this is the same on abortion, pro choice. It's not up to me to judge weather someone should live or die, it's their life. Why is this hard to grasp, that abortion is not the same kind of choice as suicide or euthanasia, it's more like choosing to kill animals. If you believe it's OK for people to have the choice to eat meat, then being pro-choice on abortion may not be consistent with your brand of vegan ethics, but for me it would be inconsistent, because I don't believe anyone should be allowed to exploit animals either, especially as it is so unnecessary. But I agree with you and Sas on the death penalty, that's just pure revenge and doesn't achieve anything. Lesley
