Guest guest
Actually I did know about Rogans, had forgotten about that one. I'm not entirely sure exactly where it is... Handsworth Wood is not as rough as Handsworth, but its a bit dubious round the edges, some of seems OK. Some friends of mine lived there while at Aston Uni, and had a couple of scary nutter incidents there! Perhaps its worth a day time investigation!! Am further in towards Bham than the Harvester, am about 10 mins walk from Scott Arms, towards Birmingham. Don't think I've been to the shop on Alison St, is it the Friends of the Earth place down there cos thats where Warehouse Cafe is? I know the sum total of zero vegans, apart from my parents... Doesn't do my sanity much good, as a lot of my friends are carnivorous which is a little annoying, a couple are veggies though. They've learnt not to " debate " veganism with me any more, because I don't set out to lose such debate!! I think the Indian place (another one I'd forgotten about...and I've never eaten beef either) is at Five Ways roundabout (where you fall off Broad Street), dot know if its any good. I know its veg, and with it being curry can't see vegan being a problem...I would hope. Dom

Guest guest
> WOW!!! Are u a life vegan then???? Nope... was a life veggie until 1997. Went vegan when I started at Aston Uni. My parents went vegan about 3 years before that, having been veg since 1973 (pre dating me by 6 years!). One of the best things I've done I reckon.
