So should we answer any questions people ask us about veganism, and if not where

do you draw the line?

I think it is best when entering in to the VEGAN QUESTION territory to say that

you will discuss 'veganism' but not what you do. That way it is not personal and

is less likely to turn into a silly, 'but you eat plants' discussion.

Always talk about it though - otherwise how can we get people to change? It is

easier to tell people vegan views when they ask rather than be accusing or

rightous.

In my books anyone not asking serious questions, it's not up for discussion.

" It was my granddads death wish " , " I eat Tofu 3 times a day, 6 days a

week... except on Sunday when I eat a bale of hay " , " why do YOU eat meat? "

(etc).

Those are obviously fairly sarcastic, but sometimes warranted.

[100% veg*n ] 20 Questions

Hello everyone,

I'm a bit ashamed at the moment... got mad the other night after

being asked one too many anti-vegan type questions. (Or that's what

they seemed like at the time).

Problem is, my (meat-eating) friends ask all kinds of different stuff

about being vegan: some are fair questions which I want to answer,

others of the " don't plants have feelings too? " variety. So should we

answer any questions people ask us about veganism, and if not where

do you draw the line?

Mog

PS. I've also gone and crossed over to the dark side (=fallen in love

with a carnivore), so feeling like a crap vegan in general! How do

you separate a cute man from his love of bacon??
