We used to sell colon cleansing products, and the literature promoting it was full of success stories and not-so-lovely photos of the putrefying rubbish that some people had had come out of their bowels during a successful colon cleansing. Guest guest
I wish I could say the same for my local HFS. They generally advocate quack remedies, don't know their stock and are too stupid/acknowledgeable to look it up properly. The other day I overheard a lady with IBS talking to the till person and she gave her an IBS pamphlet and it said to take vitamins and minerals (give us your money type thing). Nowhere was dairy mentioned. I felt like interrupting her and asking if she ate dairy, but then you're admitting to what your brain does naturally (snooping on conversations). Frustrating, I may have been able to solve her problem, which can/has gone on for decades. Grrrr. Guest guest
I don't care how I was designed.I still wouldn't kill animals or people! I wasn't designed to eat chocolate,ice-cream or drink alcohol but I do Surely we have an advanced brain and can make decisions that we have thought through'. I don't know whether other animals have this capability,so I wouldn't compare what I do with a cougar.[unless I had a pea-brain} - Emma Watchman vegan-network Monday, June 18, 2001 7:59 AM Re: [100% veg*n ] Re: 20 Questions I personally to the theory that if we were designed to comsume animal flesh our intestines would be shorter. Animals such as felines have far shorter intestinal tracts so that the waste flushes through the body before it has the chance to decay and release bacteria is mine so they >sould mind their oun business (if i felt like being (To to the Digest Mode [ recommended ], send an email to: vegan-network-digest
