It is not *real*, probably hydrogenated. Cold Pressed Corn Oil [ as in corn on the cob not wheat ] has a nice *buttery* flavour and is a good summer oil for cooking. cant be used for deep frying but can be used to saute and for baking as it gives a little rise. Always buy it from a busy shop and get a recent dated one. It is amazing how many oils on the shelves of shops are in fact rancid already. sadly, small wholefood shops may even be the worse because of the slow turn over.
