Bryan Adams isn't actually strictly vegan. Do you like him? Although I don't know how 'vegan' everyone esle on this list is either. Sometimes people tell me they are vegan and then I realise that they deviate slightly. Anyone that is kind of vegan is better than kind of not-vegan. I don't get this deviation thing though. peace to all. Anastasia

I don't because it also allows them not to take us seriously. I am fairly strict, I'm even trying to ensure no non-vegan blood tests are done on me in pregnancy! Some animal products are used in lab testing (chick blood for rubella antibody testing for instance) and I am insisting that the doc or midwife finds out which tests are vegan if any, before they are allowed to get their hands on my blood at all. I am their worst nightmare! I feel that someone has to take a stand on this because I am fed up with doctors not allowing informed choices on these matters, and trying to fob me off with lies, and they will lie if they can for an easy life! I hope they will learn something from the experience. Lesley
