Guest guest
Hello everyone, Sorry to ask another favour of you all. England and wales have The Fur Farming (Prohibition)Act, which will prevent fur farming from three years after the date which is yet to be sent. (Thanx to all those who wrote to the government) On the 19th of December 2000 the Scotish parliment reconfirmed its intention of following this act to bring scotland in to line with england on the issue. There currently aren't any farms in Scotland and not much pressure to bring in the act. Obviously it is still important, but without request the parliment won't bring in the ban. It has been stated in the comitee debate that they don't have a slot in the parlimentary timetable, so I'm asking people to write to the following Ministers ask for the ban. Please contact Minister of Rural Affairs, Ross Finnie, and also send a copy of the letter/email to Deputy Minister, Rhona Brankin. Both can be contact at: the Scottish Parliment, Edinburgh, EH99 1SP Or email ross.finnie.msp rhona.brankin.msp Short letters are brilliant, if you live in Scotland please tell them this, it will really help. Thank you, Love Anne _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
