Guest guest
Miss a few days and you get an environmentally-safe-engine-hauled cart load of messages. > > i know this list is for people who is 18-35, and i'm only 17 I >hope you will forgive me, i just haven't found any other U.K vegan >mailinglist. Well I hope I'm allowed the self publicity here but I have a UK vegan group, it's called and can be found at / or by email to - . It is a lot quieter than this list but can get rather heated. A lot of people here are on that list too, it was only because this list (V net) was mentioned there (V UK) that I found about this one. While away I did have a quick visit to Manchester, en route from Birmingham to Hull and got to pay a visit to a couple of places. The Pop Factory (well Pop something) on Oldham Road (or street, gee my memory) which was a bit too veggie and not enough vegan but wasn't bad, and I quite liked their sausage and onion baguette. I never got to go to the Unicorn place as it was too far out of the way but I did visit Eight Day's shop on Oxford Road. Quite good, nice range of Bio-D and Ecover products, a full range of Scheese and plenty of home made pasties, even though I was too full to be able to try any. Nothing fresh though. If it weren't twice as far as York or Leeds (which I still have to try) I would probably go there instead for my regular shopping. Although saying that I think I may have a decent shop quite literally around the corner from me... Michael
