Guest guest
Ick! There's not much more they could have done wrong. Food covered in cow snot with good dose of hormones! Please can you dispel the ovo-lacto vegetarian myth. Vegan does not really refer to what you eat. You should clarify with them vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat, fish or poultry and may or may not eat dairy and eggs. Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian. Ovo Vegetarian. Pure Vegetarian. That is unless they hand out leather boarding goods. Rowan Wendy Kershaw [W.Kershaw] 27 June 2001 10:08 vegan-network [100% veg*n ] Icelandair Just a word of warning for anyone ever travelling with Iceland air, I asked for a vegan meal when I booked my flight, I double checked at the bookingin desk that they had me down as a vegan, " oh yes " they said, offhandedly, and you've guessed it already ! Half way back to Scotland I open my foil dish to discover an ocean of cheese! They apologized but had no other food to offer me. So I had to sit there hungrily whilst everyone around me tucked in to dinner and later breakfast. I had already eaten their vegieburgers on the way out, assuming that they were vegan. I'm going to write a letter to them about it, but REALLY make sure that they know the difference between veg and vegan.
