Guest guest
Hi John Perhaps you could clarify something for me and other " newbies " : > This is not a chatline. You are publishing or broadasting to 130 other > individuals. By all means discuss it amongst each other directly/ Bomb > the hell out of your anti-party's mail box for all I care. Are you saying we should restrict discussion to " vegan " issues - if so, I think it's going to get very boring, very quickly - some of us have lives outside of our dietary choices, which we like to discuss amongst others who have at least some common ground! Surely, any issue (other than the " vegan " one) is going to have people with different views? BB Peter

Guest guest
The way to describe our diet officially is vegetarian, vegan is not just what you eat. One could probably find a vegan link to anything, which brings me on to the new discussion topic. The only thing that could be considered purely " vegan " is diet, and perhaps clothing. Where do you draw the line between what is " vegan " and what isn't? How about, for example (not suggesting these for discussion - just whether or not they're considered " vegan " issues): Slave Labour " Fair Trade " GM 3rd World Debt Racism Sexism Religious Persecution Deforestation Road Building ?????
