Guest guest
I just located a small blurb about this subject, here is a link. If anyone has more info I'm still interested. http://www.bcbr.com/feb2500/soy2.htm I'll respect their move (not ever) when they start putting cow's milk on cartons. The dairy industry are so arrogant as to think the only type of milk is from cows. I suppose milk by definition may be that of a species of animal, but it's irrelevant because people pour milk on their cereal and have milk in their coffee/tea. They don't put cow's milk on cereal and have cows milk in their coffee/tea. Anyhow, Soya milk is an accurate description. Once doesn't juice Soya beans like you would juice fruit. Making Soya milk is very similar to the way a cow makes milk. The only difference is people make Soya milk from Soya beans and cows make cows milk from their body fluids. Milk is a suspension of fat, protein and carbs in a fluid, and in the case of milk, a healthy dose of cholesterol and hormones. How about Coconut milk? Coconut meat? Meat does not specifically refer to animals but the meat of coconut is a valid expression. It makes no difference to me what they call it, I'll never drink their vile hormone ridden product no matter how much more lying and scare mongering they do. eff the dairy industry, it's going down baby. They must feel very threatened by the huge growth in soy milk. So we could all be adding " Copy right of the Dairy board " to any of the following. Cheese, Milk, Yoghurt. What brought this home to me was seeing soya milk adverts on the TV! (I think it was So Good). It's turning mainstream - most of my meat-eating friends still aren't convinced about the milk, but love soya yoghurt, parmesan, etc. It can only be a good thing! Guest guest
As I've said - every single person I know who has tasted Soya Icecream prefers it to dairy. Could this be the vegan converter of choice (along with some extracts from notmilk.com)? vegan-network, " Morag " <manga_mog@h...> wrote: > >eff the dairy industry, it's going down baby.
