I feel the same really. I don't agree with indiscriminate incendiary devices etc., but I admire the ALF for rescuing animals from labs etc. I am sure that the vast majority of the ALF are kind, sensitive, intelligent people. I wouldn't be brave enough to do that myself. I also admire the people who trample GM crops. At least Greenpeace was acquitted in their recent case about the incinerator, and the GM protesters haven't come off too badly - so lets hope that a new trend is being set >How can we let this excuse for a human decide our food and > science policy when he has such vested interests!? I don't know really - apart from not using the stores, but I'm sure that's only a small portion of his empire. Incidentally, a few months ago I was advised to avoid wheat because of allergy, but my naturopath said that bread made with spelt flour is okay - and I can get that from Maison Blanc. On their information sheet, they have a quote from Lord Sainsbury saying that all his family's food comes from Sainsbury, apart from bread which he gets from Maison Blanc. If that's the case, why doesn't Sainsbury supply bread made with spelt flour - and vegan? Jo
