It used to be good. I am surprised that someone in a veggie cafe wouldn't know what a vegan was! Any time I eat out I usually say I'm allergic to dairy products and will come out in a rash, so they are usually much more sympathetic then. Although I hate it if they genuinly don't know whats in things. Sometimes I'll get coleslaw slapped all over an otherwise nice salad. Also-beware of meat eating boyfriends! My ex once made soup and told me it was veg stock that was in it. So taking his word for it I ate it. Never tasted any different. About a month later he admitted to me that it was actually chicken stock! Aaaaarrrggghh!!! For that reason, I'm not sure if I can trust another meat eating boyfriend. Much rather wait for a nice veggie one!
