Guest guest
DAMN, my sarcy-detector must have malfunctioned. I don't normally misconstrue. Forgive me? You're so correct about that ingredients listing for Twinkies. I think that most of the ingredients must be there to increase the shelf life. Someone wants to Uranium date one of those things!! That's one thing: food doesn't last as long over here in the UK. xxk@xx Original Message ----- EBbrewpunx vegan-network Friday, July 27, 2001 1:01 AM RE: Re: [100% veg*n ] E631, Trufree i guess sarcasm doesn;t translate well sometimes.. it wasn't a serious " lucky us " but, you have to feel for the poor food conglomerates..can you imagine if they had to list the real ingredients of a twinkie?? the label would have to say : " see other wrapper for part 2 of contents " heck, artificial colors have like 6 -20 different things in em fer bacchus' sake eeep!! fraggle " kittyveg " <kittyveg wrote: > > > I don't know if I agree that it's fortunate that American laws don't require anything more specific than " natural " or " artificial " flavourings or colourings!
