Guest guest
Has anyone been to Iceland before (and I mean the country not the supermarket!)? I am going at the weekend and I have a feeling that it isn't going to be very vegan friendly! Any tips would be much appreciated. Guest guest
Its the most vegan friendly place I have ever come accross - if you're in Reckyvik! It's only a small town and there are three veggie / vegan restaurants.. they learnt from coming over here! If you're travelling I suggest you take a few back up meals but as long as you aren't expecting absolutely fab food from a vegan cookking only kitchen you will be fine. They are really lovely people and want to make you welcome - and yes I even found a big bag of soya chunks! - Lisa Smith vegan-network ; 0veganpunx ; ESI-List ; Wednesday, September 05, 2001 3:05 PM Re: [100% veg*n ] Iceland Has anyone been to Iceland before (and I mean the country not the supermarket!)?
