[100% veg*n ] Iceland

i worked with someone about 5 yrs ago who stayed in iceland fer several months,

if not a year, and he was a vegan.

he aid there was a lot of fish and meat products, but that it wasn't to hard to

find decent vegan fare. his main concern was lack of fresh produce....

Its the most vegan friendly place I have ever come accross - if you're in

Reckyvik! It's only a small town and there are three veggie / vegan

restaurants.. they learnt from coming over here!

 

If you're travelling I suggest you take a few back up meals but as long as you

aren't expecting absolutely fab food from a vegan cookking only kitchen you will

be fine.

 

They are really lovely people and want to make you welcome - and yes I even

found a big bag of soya chunks!
