Hiya,

Personally, I still keep those things around. Although I tend not to use

them, because then I don't have to explain that I got them before I went

vegan.

A lot of things like that are down to personal views, and vegans vary a

lot.

I've always felt that it is the moment of purchase

which marks the influence we have on the market

I entirely agree - the animal industry is about money so either make use of the

leather boots until they are worn through or donate them, either way the product

has been paid for so the moral decision has been made already.

do wotever you feel most comfortable and/or feels " right " to you...

donate them to a worthy cause if you want, a homeless shelter or whatnot...

i still have my ancient leather jacket i got a decade or so before i went

veg....it's almost gone, but, until i can afford a non-leather alternative

*shrugs*

i still even have my original pair of docs i got back in..oh gawd...early

'80's...don't wear them anymore..i've got nice veganny docs nowadays

*kicks feet gleefully*

do what you think is right.....you've already bought them.......use them until

you can find alternatives would be my guess....

and about the recipes..there are o ton on the web, but, i can not send any until

i drag my but home...don't have anything bookmarked on evil work pooter...

cheers
