I'm 20 live in wisconsin. I have been a vegan for about 7 or 8 months. I'm the

only vegan out of anyone I know. Finding it hard at times to live this lifestyle

when others around me don't support it, and are always trying to get me to eat

animal products, and the vass variaties of it at my home. But I have managed to

uphold it. So that's all of me that I can think of.

Well done Camille ---Don't let the ignorant bastards grind you down - Picture

an animals face smiling at you when the going gets tough andwhen your

friends/family eat animals " see " the blood and guts pouring from a cow suspended

by its legs.

Remind yourself that in your lifetime 1,000 animals won't have to die now that

you are vegan

Welcome to compassion

Hi everyone, i just joined the group today. Thought I would introduce myself.

But I have managed to

uphold it. So that's all of me that I can think of.

is that right Angie?? about the 1000 animals thing. Not that I've ever

thought about it in a quantitative way but it is a good weapon to throw

back at people when they are giving you grief...

Yes its roughly that figure if you live for the average no. of years and eat the

typical uk/usa diet. Ive seen it written as 1500 in some magazines Sometimes its

split up into actual numbers of animals
