Guest guest
Hi Sorry, a bit off topic, but just thought I'd share this with you. About a month ago I had to go and stay in alternative accomodation, while my landlord let out my usual place of residence to deer hunters as a 'holiday home'. Well, the season is over and I would have been ready to move back. But last night, I could only watch as my former home was burned to the ground. The hunters had went out and left a log fire burning. These are the people we are supposed to trust with guns as well!! I could hear the ammunition they left in the house go off within the blaze. Thankfully I had taken most of my possessions out of the place beforehand. They weren't so lucky-they only had their passports and the clothes they were standing in! They had left a dead deer by the side of the house. The police weren't too happy as the season had finished 3 days ago. So they shouldn't have even been there! If they had stuck to the rules perhaps a few stags may have lived and I might have been able to go back to my home! However, at least it was just material possessions and no-one was injured. Hope you don't mind me sharing that with you. Cheers! Because working in a very remote area, unfortunately I don't actually get to choose where I can live. I have to take what there is. He owns the property I am in now too. A tent is not a wise option this time of year and even then I'd still be on grounds that are used for hunting. Also transport would be a problem if I were to move out of the area. So not much of an option. He certainly doesn't make a profit from me directly, I get the accomodation for a small price because I work for his wife. [may I add the job is completely unrelated to what her husband does] I must be boring you with the details here, so I'll stop. It's sad that he makes his profit from people who enjoy killing, but well...I think recent events may have changed that! >If it was me, I would move elsewhere and tell him to go and fuck himself > >with something unpleasant. Thanks for the support, but I doubt this attitude will change things. He knows how I I can't imagine it would be more unpleasant than what the hunted deer / stag goes through. Tell the bastard he is a >fuck wit and he can fuck off >I hope you don't mind that I find this an emotive topic. Not at all, Steve. Thanks for your reply and Fraggles. Cheers!
