McDonalds workers in Russia organise and set up website

There was leafletting by anarchists outside 5 Moscow McDonald's on October

16th 2001. There were also protests in Rostov-on-Don. Right next morning

workers from Pushkin square McD in Moscow, who maintain the website

http://www.macdonaldz.narod.ru [you need a browser with russian characters to

understand it] wrote that their bosses were shit scared for some underground

anti-McD organisation emerging in Russia.

There is a film about the struggle of McDonalds workers here in Russia for

recognition of their union rights. There are hopes to screen that and the

McLibel film together and distribute them on the same videotape.
