Guest guest
Hello again, If I remember correctly someone recently made a posting advising that making coffee with Alpro doesn't curdle? Could someone please correct me as I must have this wrong? I have tried this and ended up with something which looked about as appealing as egg soup. I always add the soya milk before adding the water. At my girlfriend's suggestion I then tried heating the soya milk before adding the water. Absolutely no difference. Could someone please sdvise me how to make coffee with soya milk? Is it actually possible? I've never had problems with curdling soy milk either... Maybe it's the brand? I use Silk or Naturally Preferred (or whatever the stuff is called). I just add it cold from the 'fridge to piping hot coffee or tea... - Cheryl ..................................... http://www.pickleflick.com/bean http://www.livejournal.com/~ratties AIM: triceratops bean " Roses are red, violets are blue, You are a tacky malefactor. Guest guest
Steve, I don't drink coffee to much as it curdles so easily, but I have the most success with Red Mountain and a fresh carton of soya milk. I add the milk first & turn the coffee off before it boils. It will curdle in the end, it just seems to take longer. Have you tried rice milk or oat milk - even if it does taste like soggy weetabix it might be better.
