Guest guest
Thanks everyone! That was just what I needed to hear about horse riding! I'm just so in love with non-humans, I spend a lot of time at the SPCA with the furbabies, but I'm just getting greedy and wanted to start working with horses...but then again, horse riding is obviously not 'working with' horses, but exploitation instead. And where I live (Hong Kong), humans barely have enough space for themselves, let alone the horses, so it'd be hard to be a real horse-friendly stable. By the way, John, I am the one who asked how to lose weight...but don't get me wrong, I am a healthy, petite 45 kg girl (though I would still LOVE to swim with dolphins...wish I could find the place to do this!), just wanted to lose some weight because I have subconciously given in to the 'anorexic-look' trend! Anyway, I'll find other ways to satisfy my need to be around non-humans...horse riding is clearly not the answer I'm after! I hear the Chinese government keeps interfering in the HK administration. > By the way, John, I am the one who asked how to lose weight...but don't get > me wrong, I am a healthy, petite 45 kg girl (though I would still LOVE to > swim with dolphins...wish I could find the place to do this!), just wanted > to lose some weight because I have subconciously given in to the > 'anorexic-look' trend! That's what I was worried about. Unless you're shorter than 1.34 metres, there really is no need to lose weight. (And if you're taller than 1.5 metres, losing weight could actually be bad for you.) > Anyway, I'll find other ways to satisfy my need to be around > non-humans...horse riding is clearly not the answer I'm after! > > Honor > > _______________ > Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp > > > To to the Digest Mode [ recommended ], send an email to: vegan-network-digest > >
Guest guest
Hi Ian, >You're in Hong Kong? How is that nowadays? I hear the Chinese government >keeps interfering in the HK administration. Yep, I'm in HK, and although the Chinese govt does interfere with the HK administration, it really isn't as bad as the people here make it seem. We can 'talk' about democracy (instilling democracy is another matter though) and we're still surviving! >That's what I was worried about. You're right, losing weight at my height (1.5m) may not be necessary!
