Guest guest
It's important to know about B12. You can get it from fortified foods, or from pills. The Vegan Society has done this excellent guide: http://www.vegansociety.com/html/info/b12sheet.htm sinawe3 wrote: > > B12?or B14? -- Ian McDonald http://www.tardis.ed.ac.uk/~type40/alternative.html http://travel.to/startrekcolony - Star Trek: Colony site & .mov http://www.tardis.ed.ac.uk/~type40/who-rpg.html - Dr. Who RPGs
Guest guest
If you look at the numbers on the jar, notice you'd need quite a lot of marmite to get all your B12 requirements from it. But yes, if you only intend to be vegan for a few years, your liver stores will probably see you through. Personally, I intend to be vegan for the rest of my life. (Plus, I had symptoms that suggested my stores ran out a year or two ago.) Vaughan wrote: > > > And if you eat Marmite / Vegemite / own brand yeast extract, then you're > > sorted for B12 too!
