Guest guest
Hi, Although expensive, lace might be an alternative for the sort of look you seem to be after. Another alternative are microfibres and satins, many of which have the smooth flowing texture of silk. However, with synthetics you do have a problem with the fabric not " breathing " , so it's probably just amatter of trial and error. I think a lot of the pure cotton and cotton-lycra blends can look fabulous, and they're much more comfortable than either satin or lace, in my opinion. One thing I would recommend, if you're handy with a sewing machine, is to consider sewing your own lingerie. There are heaps of patterns about for everything from chemises and slips to kimonos, and are very easy to sew. You also have the advantage of being able to select totally vegan cloth, in the color and weight that you want. I hope this is useful, and wish you well on your search.
