Guest guest
Hello - i'm also new to the list, i've been on the GVN one but only just got round to joining this one. My name is Ewan from Glasgow, i just turned 20 and i study social sciences at Glasgow Caley uni and i've been vegan for about only 5 months after being vegetarian for 2 years, just joined the list cos i always like to hear other vegan viewpoints and opinions, especially seeing as i only know 3 or 4 other vegans. Cheers, Ewan = ----------

Guest guest
yeah, it's hard, isn't it? The only vegans I know are an hour away in benders (and a treehouse) in the woods, and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. ie I'd love to live up there but I have things to do here on the other side of Dartmoor! You'd have thought vegetarians would be understanding but they really don't seem to be most of the time. Hiya to all those who introduced themselves! Guest guest
whose not understanding? and why not? a lot of people i guess have different reasons for going veggie, and some of them once they do it feel theyre doing enough and refuse to listen to anyone who mentions that suffering is caused by milking and force molting (wait, are they allowed to do force molting over here?)... oh well. didnt mean to offend any veggies on the list, im jsut always confused at how animal rights adocates can just be so uptight in not realising how hypocritical they are! spiggs -- Priscilla Pelkey spiggy - email (210) 576-2701 x5770 - voicemail/fax ---- " charlie_elise " <charlie_elise wrote: [Non text/plain message body suppressed] FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place. Guest guest
And then there are those " vegetarians " who would still eat anything that is cooked with meat - as long as they don't actually eat the MEAT.
