Guest guest
Are you in the UK? It's strange -- the staff at Lush have always gone to great lengths to find ingredients lists for me if I have a question about something (though, by now, I know which items I like and they're all vegan: I've seen the list of ingredients). None of the shops near me have the green blobs positioned next to the products. Weird. I am sure that they don't think that honey is vegan, because I've had people tell me, " O, that's not vegan. It's got honey in " . Thankfully, too, I'm not sensitive to the essential oils and neither is my husband. This is odd, because I break out quite easily. Never had a problem with Lush, touch wood. xxk@xx - " Emily Howarth " <dropscone <vegan-network > Saturday, January 05, 2002 1:08 PM [100% veg*n ] Lush thinks honey is vegan (?) > > If anybody is still interested in buying Lush stuff after all this allergy > stuff ... > > have purchased a couple of things from there which had green stickers on and > they turned out to have honey in them. Guest guest
They're not alone. Jurlique also classify honey as a vegetable ingredient, as does Natio (an Australian brand). Guest guest
But the thing is, Lush DON'T classify honey as non-animal. If you look at their newspaper, Lush Times, it'll bear this out. - " Leanne Daharja Veitch " <daharja <vegan-network > Sunday, January 06, 2002 1:07 AM Re: [100% veg*n ] Lush thinks honey is vegan (?) > They're not alone.
