Hello everyone,

I have just been accepted to Sheffield uni, next autumn - can anyone tell me

if there r any good vegan places to eat, as i'm going for an open day soon.

How is sheffield generally for vegans? Thanks.

<<Having said this though, there is an element that could certainly be

labelled as extremist - although i must admit on a personal level it was

this " crusty punk-type " element and songs like " Meat means Murder " by

Conflict that got me involved in the first place. Just something to think

about,>>

isn't it irritaing when at 'pollitical' bands that all the audience will

agree with the anarcism and morals of the band, then head straight over to

macdonalds after - i wish pepole would listen to the morals messages in the

music. I'm thinking of a propagandhi gig i went to in manchester where the

lyrics seam to go over everyones head although they weren't exactly subtle.

" meat is still murder, dairy is still rape "

at least the band appriciates the efforts of others, the band dedicated the

last song to those " fighting for non-human animals "

any info on sheffield is greatly appriciated,

cheers anne

Ewan, don't u find it irritaing when at gigs played by bands
