Hiya,

I'm at Sheffield uni and as far as vegans go its quite good. The Union shop

has vegan stuff to eat - which would probably be easiest for an open day

(though there's less now Brittons bung egg into everything)and also the

vegeburgers the Union sells in Bar 1 and at gigs are vegan. There's two

amazing shops - Beanies and New Roots which are both 5 mins from the union -

New Roots sometimes even sells vegan pizza! In town there are 3 vegetarian

cafes which do vegan stuff as well - one (Blue Moon Cafe) is closed at the

moment as its relocating at a bigger site - I'm hoping it'll be open when I

go back next week! What are you studying?

I can assure that Glasgow Caledonian Union is worse - its not even funny how

awful it is. The only vegan thing i ever get to eat is chips n beans :(

Apologies that it has taken a bit to respond to this. I don't have much

information, it's just that I do have a few vegan friends who live in

Sheffield, but they're ALL elsewhere (India, etc>0 at the mo'. I know that

there's a big co-operative there. It's called Unicorn and my co-op supplies

them w/ veg*n, organic food. Urgh...I don't remember their addy. I'll get

back to you with the details if you'd like.

Good luck @ uni.
